REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Pre-K 2026-2027 Lottery
The link to apply for the Pre-K Lottery will be posted in December. We post the application on our district and school websites, in the district newsletter, on social media and in the Forecaster newspaper.
Since there is a deadline to apply, you will want to watch for it to be posted. We suggest signing up for the weekly district newsletter if you are interested in the Pre-K Lottery and start watching for it before the December break.
Kindergarten Pre-Registration 2026-2027
Kindergarten registration for MSAD #51 (Cumberland-North Yarmouth) will begin on January 12, 2026.
If your child will be five years old on or before October 15, 2026, they are eligible to attend kindergarten this fall.
Additionally, if you have a student currently enrolled in a private school or being homeschooled and would like them to attend Mabel I. Wilson School in the fall, please register your child online by January 23, 2026. We want to ensure all incoming students are included in the placement process for the 2026-27 school year.

Grades K - 12 Current Registration
If you just moved to our district or are already living within district and have a child currently enrolled in a private school and would like them to attend MSAD #51, please start by completing our registration form online.
HOW TO ENROLL
To enroll a new K-12 student, use our online registration system. If you have more than one child, you will need to register each child individually. Students who are returning to MSAD #51 after attending a school in another district, a private school, or from homeschool, will also need to register.
To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please gather the following documents beforehand:
- Child's birth certificate: This document serves as proof of your child's identity and birth date.
- Proof of residency: In order to register your student(s) at MSAD #51, a document from each of the following three sections must be provided.
- Document showing your Cumberland/North Yarmouth residence: Signed lease, Signed purchase and sale, or Current property tax bill
- Document showing your current Cumberland/North Yarmouth address: Valid Maine Driver’s License, or Valid Maine State Identification card
- Document that includes your current Cumberland/North Yarmouth address (must be dated within the past year): Car registration, Voter registration, or Utility bill (electricity, gas, or water bill)
- Immunization record: See our Immunization requirements
These documents should be uploaded while completing the online enrollment forms, however, if you are unable to do the upload, you can bring them to your child's school office during regular school hours.
Enrollment steps:
- Complete the K-12 Student Registration form online:

- Receive a Next Steps email from PowerSchool at MSAD 51: Once your registration form is processed, you will receive an email within 1 to 3 school days of your form submission. The Next Steps email will contain information on how to complete the remainder of the enrollment forms. If you do not receive this email, please get in touch with our registration coordinator at: [email protected] or 207-829-4825. **Be sure to check your spam folder**
- Create or sign into your PowerSchool Parent/Guardian Account: Use the access information provided in the Next Steps email you received to create a new PowerSchool Parent/Guardian Account. If you already have a PowerSchool Parent/Guardian account, you will add your student to your existing account.
How to set up your PowerSchool Parent Portal Account. - Complete online enrollment forms in PowerSchool Parent Portal: Log into your PowerSchool Parent Account and complete the Enrollment forms for each of your newly enrolled student(s).
