On December 5, 2024 the Board of Directors approved the artificial turf recommendation. The next steps are as follows:
- To follow the recommendation of the Artificial Turf Committee to acquire artificial turf that uses no infill and that is PFAS-free and recyclable;
- To direct the Superintendent to take steps to seek competitive bids for the acquisition of the turf surface, including shock pad; and
- To direct the Superintendent to take steps to separately seek competitive bids for the site work related to the turf system."
