Congratulations to Oliver Pourghasemi for his second place finish in the Maine STEM Film Contest (4-5 division) for his short film on the technology associated with weather forecasting. GT Science students researched, wrote scripts, created slideshows/movies, and properly cited sources in order to participate in the contest.

Board ‘goes back to school’ at GMS 4-5, visiting several classes with Principal MacArthur and Supt Porter to gain more insight as to the programs and curriculum offered in our schools

Yesterday, the kindergarten team and students hosted an assembly, reenacting the book The Napping House that they had recently read.

SHOUT OUT to the GMS School Climate Committee for the Shout Out Wall. This is to serve as a reminder that we can all take a few minutes to let staff, parents, and students know what we appreciate their hard work and willingness to help others.

GHS students are hoping for snow as we approach the last week of January with no snow days yet.

After creating solutions regarding the portables, grade 6 students presented their projects to their classmates.
