Staff Appreciation Week is officially here, and the Greely PTO has brought back a fan favorite!

This afternoon around 2:00pm, we had a false alarm occur through our district safety program, Centegix, which activated our evacuation safety protocol at Greely High School. Our students and staff at GHS responded appropriately by following our safety procedures and protocols. There was an erroneous report posted by a member of the community on social media that there was an intruder at GHS. I wish to assure the district that this information is false and that there was no actual emergency at any of our schools.

As a result of this situation occurring near the end of the secondary school day, our bus schedule will be impacted slightly by about 10-15 minutes. Please plan on all buses for secondary and elementary students running behind schedule this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

Greely High School and Lycée Émile Roux: 2025-2026
In the fall of 2025, the Lycée Émile Roux in Confolens, France played host to nineteen Greely High School students for two weeks from November 23-December 6.

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible assistant principals of MSAD #51. Your leadership, dedication, and unwavering support for students, staff, and families make a lasting difference every single day. From solving challenges behind the scenes to building strong, positive school communities, your impact does not go unnoticed.

Our Rangers represented Greely at the Maine State Math Meet yesterday and took home 2ND PLACE TEAM in Division B!! Incredible job!

On March 27, students in Katie Dexter’s Public Speaking class at GHS participated in mock interviews, gaining hands-on experience and receiving valuable feedback from interviewers.
