Since the beginning of the year, three Seniors (Charlotte T, Connor A, and Lauren D) have been collaborating with Jonathan Dawson, the Steward of the Cumberland Chebeague Land Trust on a year long SILO course. The students are learning about how nonprofits run, about land conservation and land management, and have worked on a variety of projects with and for the land trust (including, but not limited to: accessibility projects, trail work, creating exploration kits, event management, and even environmental book readings for children).
