| The
district's mission includes the goal of supporting all students as they
work to meet or exceed standards. One measure of this is how students
in the same cohort perform as they progress through our system. These
charts follow the same students over two, three, or four years and their
performance on the reading and math sections of the Maine Educational
Assessment. These students are currently one grade beyond their 2009
grade level. Please feel free to contact your building
administrator or Sally Loughlin, Curriculum Director, if you have any
questions or comments.

51 has a system of assessments to measure student learning. These
assessments focus on literacy and numeracy and span all grade levels
kindergarten through grade 12. Assessment data is used to inform
instruction, to identify areas for student support, and to help with
placement into courses and programs. As we continue to create common
course assessments they will be included in this list. Please
feel free to contact your building administrator or Sally Loughlin,
Curriculum Director, if you have any questions or comments.
