Understanding Google and how your kids are using it at school

“What is ‘Digital Wellness’ and how do I create a healthy digital environment at home?”
Please join MSAD51 Director of Technology, Dirk Van Curan as he facilitates an open dialogue with about the vast topic of Digital Wellness.  Learn how kids use technology at school and what the District is doing to keep them safe. Discover tools to monitor and manage technology use at home.  Parents will gain a better understanding of Google Drive, the platform used by MSAD51 students, through hands-on training and discussion.
About Our Presenter
Dirk Van Curan has a great deal of experience in technology within a variety of businesses. He worked as Technology Supervisor at Lehman Brothers for over a decade before moving on to be a financial advisor. Dirk has also worked as a consultant in the travel industry. He has been Director of Technology for MSAD51 since 2012, having  previously worked in the district on business education and technology support.
