Dear MSAD #51 Community, On Wednesday, March 23rd through Friday, March 25th, MSAD #51’s District Office, Greely PTO and Foundation 51 are collaborating to host an item donation drive for the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) right on the Greely campus. Items can be new or gently used. It’s a great time to start spring cleaning as a wide range of items are being collected. Here are just a few examples:
Donation drop-offs can be made in the morning, at the entrance of each school, between the hours of 7:00-7:30am at the High School, 7:15 - 8:30am at the Middle School, 8:00-8:30 at Mabel I. Wilson School, or at the Central Office from 8:00am-3:00pm. If you are unable to make those drop off dates, the Salvation Army will host an additional drop off day on Saturday, March 26 from 10am-2pm. You can drop off your items at the Salvation Army trailer which will be located between Mabel I. Wilson School and Greely Middle School. If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Caswell, Community Development & Resource Manager for MSAD #51 at 829-4800. About the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center When those in the grip of addiction need help, hope and a second chance at life, the Salvation Army ARC is there. The ARC, with the help from communities and schools across the country, has been successful in providing each program participant with a clean and healthy living environment, good food and work therapy. We are also seeking volunteers that might be able to help collect the items at each school during the drop off period. If you might be able to help, please sign up here: Collection Volunteers |
