Annual Snow Day Update

Please click HERE to read this year's update regarding snow day information.  Please note that some things have changed.

COVID-19 Student Daily Screening Tool

Students (parents/caregivers) and staff members must conduct self-checks for symptoms (Pre-screening Tool for School Attendance Updated 10.9.20) prior to boarding buses or entering school buildings each day.  Any person who shows one of the most common symptoms of two of the less common symptoms of Covid 19 on the screening should stay home and contact their doctor for evaluation.  Parents should call the main office of their child's school to report an absence related to COVID-19 symptoms.  Students who are absent with COVID-19 symptoms will require a clearance note from their doctor prior to returning to school.

Updated Face Coverings Requirement

Per Executive Order #14, Governor Mills recently broadened the requirement for face coverings to be worn on school grounds by extending this to outdoor areas.

This executive order applies to all students, staff, parents, and community members when they are on campus, whether indoors or outdoors.  We will be posting signage at all entrances to the campus letting people know masks must be worn on campus, whether walking outside, traveling between buildings, using playgrounds, spectating at an athletic event, playing at recess, etc.

The only exceptions to this executive order are when:

  • eating (indoors or outdoors) while maintaining 6 feet of distance;
  • supervised by a teacher/staff member in an outdoor learning environment while sitting or standing in one place and can maintain 6 feet of distance;
  • approved music activities are held outside while maintaining 14 feet of distance;
  • involved in certain approved physical activities outside where exertion may occur.

Thank you for your continued hard work in keeping our campus healthy and safe.
