Community Partners Our Community Partners are strong supporters of various areas of the school. Without them, our students would not have many of the wonderful opportunities and experiences that they receive.
GHS Boys Lacrosse Tree Pickup Greely Lacrosse parents and volunteers will be collecting discarded Christmas trees to raise money for the Greely High School Boys Lacrosse program. Pickup dates will be December 28, 2019 and January 4, 2020. The cost per tree is only $20 and we will come to your house, pickup your tree and dispose of it. All you need to do is leave your tree by the curb and we’ll take care of the rest. Please visit http://www.greelylacrosse.org to register and show your support for the Greely Lacrosse program. Please contact greelylacrosse@gmail.com with any questions. A copy of their flyer can be seen by clicking HERE. Project Graduation Pallet Party Grab a few friends and join us on Wednesday, January 8th from 6-8pm for a Pallet Party to support Project Graduation for the Class of 2021. This is the popular crafting trend that lets you easily create a personalized sign. Choose your design ahead of time and then show up and paint! Cost is $10 per ticket, which directly supports Project Graduation. You pay for your design at the event. The Pallet Party is being held at the North Yarmouth Congregational Church at 3 Gray Road. GHS Poetry Out Loud
Poetry Out Loud is a national poetry recitation competition. At GHS all sophomores compete at the classroom level (in their English classes). Classroom winners and independent junior and senior and senior competitors will compete at the school level on January 6. Our school winner will go on to compete in a regional competition, where they will have a chance to earn a spot in the state and then national competitions. GHS has been participating in Poetry Out Loud for ten years. Last year's school winner was current junior Kaitlyn Guay. FMI, click HERE.
