Skyline Farm's Plow Day, a Spring Festival - May 11th

On Saturday, May 11, from 12-3 p.m., Skyline Farm at 95 The Lane, North Yarmouth, holds its 11th annual Plow Day, a free public spring festival. Horse-drawn plowing demonstrations, wagon rides for kids ($5 donation per child), kids’ activities, organic seedling sale, and blacksmith and carpentry demonstrations.

12-1 pm Meet an Icelandic horse

1:30 pm Breyer Stablemate Painting Party (limited space)

2 pm Dog tricks.

 

Refreshment sales benefit this nonprofit farm and carriage museum.

 

The new carriage museum exhibit "Ladies & Gentlemen" features ‘finer’ lighter vehicles and ‘bulkier’ heavier ones. This exhibit is also open Sundays, May 12 through June 30, from 1-4 p.m. or by appointment.
