with author/historian Eleanor Phillips Brackbill
on Sunday, March 10, 4 PM
North Yarmouth Congregational Church Fellowship Hall

This illustrated talk will feature highlights from Eleanor Brackbill''s book, An Uncommon Cape: Researching the Histories and Mysteries of a Property.

Three mysteries precipitated an investigation into Ms. Brackbill's otherwise ordinary property—and as she peeled back layers of history, the house and the land began to tell stories that were inextricably woven into four centuries of American history.

Ms. Brackbill will offer insights and guidelines on how to find the stories behind your own home. She is the former curator of the Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, State University of New York. She lives in Westbrook.

Refreshments will be served. A half-hour Annual Meeting will precede our program.
