The E-Z Pack Program at the Community Food Pantry:

Calling all CNY United soccer families...Help us "Kick Out" hunger!   On September 21st, please bring kid-friendly foods to your CNY United soccer game at Twin Brook to donate to the E-Z Pack Program at the Community Food Pantry.  There will be collection boxes at the Twin Brook Shelter (the "Red Barn") from 8:30 am - noon.

School-aged kids in Cumberland and North Yarmouth are in need of food assistance and the E-Z Pack program was developed to provide "kid-friendly" food assistance to these children in need.  We appreciate CNY United joining us to collect kid-friendly food donations for these children.  We are proud to have CNY United "kids" helping kids "Kick Out" Hunger!

The E-Z Pack Program:  Four members of Girl Scout Troop 106 (Becca Hamlen, Erin O'Donovan, Kelsey Currier and Jillian Brown - all GMS 8th graders) have joined forces with the Cumberland Food Pantry to create the E-Z Pack Program for their Girl Scout Silver Award Project.  The E-Z Pack is a bag filled with kid friendly foods for school-aged kids who need food assistance after school, on weekends and during school vacations.  The Program is in need of kid-friendly food donations.

Kid-friendly food suggestions: Cereals/Instant Oatmeal, Raisins/Dried Fruit, Fruit cups/Applesauce/Pudding cups, Trail mix/Granola Bars, Peanut butter crackers, Pre-packaged snack crackers, Cup of soup/Ramen noodles, Easy Mac/Pasta, Canned chicken/tuna, Peanut butter & Jelly, Juice pouches/boxes.
