From: Barbara Snapp, MWLOA The Maine Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association has scheduled training clinics for both adult umpires and junior umpires. Information about the clinics and on-line registration are available on MWLOA’s website: www.mainewloa.com The adult umpire program meets four consecutive weeks in March and trains officials to umpire youth, middle school and high school games. Clinics last from 6 to 8 pm at all sites: Thornton Academy, Saco: Mondays March 2, 9, 16, 23 Brunswick High School, Brunswick: Mondays March 2, 9, 16, 23 Falmouth High School, Falmouth: Thursdays March 5, 12, 19, 26 [We hope to have a 4th option at Thomas College, Waterville – TBA] The junior umpire program meets for 5 hours on a single Saturday. Teenagers will be trained to umpire club youth games. Full information is on the Teen/Player Umpire webpage on our website.
