Katherine
Harrington, a junior, recently presented her science research project;
"Ferrofluids and their potential application as sealants", at the
Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) held on the
campus of the University of New Hampshire. Katherine's research was
identified as one of the 5 top research projects from Northern New
England (Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont) and earned her a trip to the
National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) in Bethesda,
Maryland where she will discuss her research with the top students from
the other 45 JSHS regional events.
An
outstanding student and athlete, Katherine is also a member of Greely's
Robotics team which won the Maine state robotic championship and
recently participated in the World Robotic Competition in Dallas, TX.
