The school nurses collaborate with classroom teachers by providing a variety of health/science lessons on hand washing, nutrition, personal hygiene, dental health, basic first aid, safe and appropriate use of over-the counter-medication, accident prevention, bicycle safety, blood pressure measurement and human anatomy/physiology subjects. Particular health education questions should be directed to the nurse based at your child's school.
